My first entry ... or is it ... ?

SO many times I’ve read back from people’s blogs to their first post and found a nice happy post full of niceness and happiness. For example:

”Hi guys. Wow a blog! I’m so excited and I’m sure you are too. Love you all, can’t wait to put up my daily life about flowers and chocolate. No one would believe I’m a 6’2” bloke! Here’s a picture of me with my bestest best friend!”

When reading those blogs you feel warm and fuzzy inside ready to enjoy someone’s thoughts they have decided to share with you. Those blogs share a magical wonderland encouring and spreading the love around to it’s readers and all the blogger’s friends love him for he has written about his happy life and them. Because in those blogs the readers only really want to hear about themselves.

This is not one of those blogs!

This blog will not make you feel warm and fuzzy. You will be cold and hurting. Hurting from the emotion you have for the words that have offended you. Probably. There is no wonderland, no magic and definitely no sharing love or spreading it round. That’s disgusting and generally frowned upon when you do it at a dinner party. But most of all I’m sorry to say, there will probably be many, many of you NOT named on this blog. EVER. If you want to see your name on the web, look on Google or a baby name site. You can satisfy your ego there!

I’m not intentionally trying to be mean (I can hear anyone who knows me laughing now), I just think a blog should be someone’s thoughts they have decided to share with the world. Not trying to please everyone. I created this after repeating hearing about Barney’s blog on How I Met Your Mother and decided I would join in at last to this blogging fantasy. If it can make on International TV, I think it’s worth it to be a part of.

This is my first post. As you can see it not a typical first post as it’s starting to get the classic moaning blog genre where I just complain about what I don’t like. I’m British. Of course I moan. It’s what we do best as a nation. But I am not saying hello like all the others. The best way to start is to pretend you’ve been doing for so long you don’t want to do it anymore.
So to all my fans … Goodbye!
