Cars

I started out my driving career when I was 16.
I had wanted to drive since I was a lad, with the usual pictures of cars on my walls. I watched every driver I could to see what they were doing and quickly found the right way and wrong way of doing the driving thing.

When I was 16 I got a car 4 months before my 17th and used to spend hours in the car pretending to drive. I would also clean it religiously, inside and out. After 2 months of owning it, I got to drive it on a farm. That's where I learnt to drive, not pass my test. I never was into modding but did like sound more than the average joe and ended up replacing the audio wiring system in the car and replaced all speakers. Not because it was needed, but because, I could. It had a Sony CD player that came with the car as well, which I still use to this day.

When I had my 3rd car, I joined a car club. It was there that I met many of my fellow modders and I got the modding bug. Problem is, nowadays, it’s hard to mod a car without it looking chavy and crap or being ridiculously expensive. By my 4th car I had the basics down. Audio by this time was second nature and the first thing I did.

I now have 2 years no claims bonus after a little crash (wrote the other driver's car off on structual damage with only a bumber replacement on mine) and have been driving on a full licence since April 2005. I have a habit of breaking cars to their death and so far have killed 5 cars. I’m on 6th and I hope to keep it for a long time.
